Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Front‑End Loader Operator II for the Lake Charles, LA project to move and load materials such as soil, gravel, or debris. You will perform pre‑shift inspections and coordinate with the crew to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to operate heavy machinery, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience and NCCER certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant, proven experience operating construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvering loaders to move dirt, gravel, debris, and other materials on Project site.
• Load and unload trucks, backfilling excavations, etc.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling of equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Louisiana Bridge Builders (LBB) is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I‑210 West End and Ryan Street.

Position Purpose/Summary

The Front‑End Loader Operator II is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by moving and loading materials such as soil, gravel, or debris for the Project.

Location

This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Maneuvering loaders to move dirt, gravel, debris, and other materials on Project site.

Qualifications
