Job summary

Builders Supply, a CRH Company, is a leading provider of ready mix concrete, reinforcing steel, and building materials in Louisiana. The Loader Operator will operate a front-end loader for groundwork and material feed, ensuring quality control and safe handling on project sites.

Qualification includes a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years related experience. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and the ability to work in a team environment with occasional training duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front-end loader safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report any problems to the Operations Manager, Production Manager, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
• Follow direction of Manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing, and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
