Job summary

Moapa Band of Paiutes is seeking an experienced Front-End Loader Operator to safely operate a Caterpillar 980M loader for aggregate loading and material handling on upcoming solar projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and proven loader operating experience. Overtime, including weekends, may be required; drug screening may be conducted as part of safety protocols. This position emphasizes safe operations in a high-volume site.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous front-end loader operating experience required.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an active work environment.
• Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and job-site awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
• Must pass drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Caterpillar 980M front-end loader.
• Load haul trucks safely and efficiently with awareness of surroundings.
• Move and manage aggregate stockpiles as directed.
• Maintain a clean loading area by minimizing debris and spills.
• Demonstrate proper use of the loader's onboard bucket scale system.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.
• Follow all safety policies and site requirements.
• Work effectively in a high-volume aggregate and construction environment.
