Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a skilled driver to safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes, including residential areas and alleys. You will perform thorough pre/post checks, complete reports, and maintain high levels of service and safety.

The position requires a Class B CDL, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Training and development opportunities are offered in a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Garbage/Recycling experience preferred
• Class B commercial driver's license
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulations
• Clearinghouse profile required
• FCC is a drug-free workplace
• Substance abuse testing is a requirement for onboarding and ongoing employment

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations
• Safely operate vehicles on assigned routes including streets and alleys
• Operate vehicle controls and joystick equipment per safety procedures
• Interact courteously with coworkers, dispatchers and customers
• Monitor vehicle status to minimize downtime
• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately
• Maintain productivity standards to service clients promptly
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures
