Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and provide prompt waste collection services. The driver will perform pre/post-operation checks, navigate diverse routes, and maintain documentation with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, ability to lift heavy objects, and compliance with DOT and FCC safety regulations. We offer a team environment with growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Garbage/recycling experience preferred.
• Class B commercial driver's license.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet DOT regulations; Clearinghouse profile required.
• FCC is a drug-free workplace with substance abuse testing.

Responsibilities

• Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations.
• Ensures vehicles are safely operated on assigned routes including roads, neighborhoods and alleys.
• Operates controls and joystick equipment in compliance with safety procedures.
• Engages courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely service.
• Monitors vehicle status to minimize downtime and maintain readiness.
• Completes paperwork and reports accurately while maintaining productivity.
• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.
