Job summary

Price Rite of Torrington is hiring a Front End Manager (PRRC) to oversee front-end operations including cash handling, bookkeeping, front-end service and payroll. You will coordinate store programs and community events, ensuring security, training, and adherence to policies.

The role requires an Associate Degree or equivalent experience, strong computer skills, and experience with store operations and scheduling. A customer-focused leader who can drive efficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination
• Computer skills a must; background in store operations and work scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to work with concepts like probability and statistics
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Responsibilities

• Manages front end operations including cash management, bookkeeping, front-end service and payroll
• Coordinates community and store events
• Maintain security of store systems and proper usage of equipment
• Meet department productivity and payroll goals
• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and development of department personnel
• Adhere to HR policies and labor laws
• Educate customers with proper signage concerning events and programs
