Job summary

Price Rite is seeking a Front End Lead Clerk for a full-time role in our Operations department. You will oversee front-end operations, cash handling, payroll, and team training, reporting to store leadership. The position supports our mission of delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

You will participate in cross-training across departments, ensuring daily tasks align with our Service Priorities and store standards. A strong cash-record and willingness to work varied shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends.
• Satisfactory cash record (less than 2 errors in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts, reconciliation of cashier tills, deposits, and reports.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Provide backup for Front End Manager – schedule writing and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate to all levels of management and adhere to front-end procedures.
• Travel to other stores as needed and provide exceptional customer service.
