Job summary

Luke's Local Grocery seeks a Cashier Shift Lead to head the cashier team and support Store Leadership during shifts. You will oversee front-end operations, handle customer questions, and assist with stocking and displays. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

You will open and close the store, maintain checkout efficiency, and promote hospitality standards across deli service, in-store shopping, and checkout experiences. A positive attitude and team mentality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in retail or grocery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cashier team and support Store Leadership on the floor.
• Oversee cash register operations and respond to customer questions and concerns.
• Assist with stocking and facing front-facing displays, grocery, alcohol, and dairy shelves.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
