Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Front End Lead to coordinate cashier teams and act as liaison between staff and management. The role includes supervising cashiers, approving transactions, and ensuring accurate cash handling and guest experience.

The position requires supervisory experience in retail, strong math and computer skills, and likely a Bachelor’s degree. Onsite work with weekend availability and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting.
• Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations.
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties.
• Assists in supervising the Front-End team to ensure optimal performance and guest experience.
• Approves voids, employee discounts, returns and exchanges.
• Processes and settles daily cash and credit transactions for all departments.
• Processes and prepares shipment of daily cash deposits.
• Documents and communicates overages, shortages, sales data and discrepancies to managers.
• Coordinates currency orders to ensure cash is available for transactions.
• Maintains an accurate safe count and daily operation of cash handling equipment.
• Orders and monitors inventory of Front End supplies.
• Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves incidents involving employees or guests.
• Coordinates catering sheets between departments.
• Handles online order fulfillment and delivery coordination using platforms.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
