Job summary

Eataly Chicago is seeking a Full-Time Front End Lead who will be responsible for overseeing cashier operations, ensuring excellent service, and liaising between staff and management. The ideal candidate should have supervisory experience in retail.

You will handle transactions, train and motivate cashiers, and manage cash and inventory. The role requires flexibility, including weekends, and involves physical duties such as lifting and mobility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting, with experience leading a cashier team preferred.
• Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations.
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between staff and management to ensure functionality.
• Delegate, motivate, train, and mentor Front End Cashiers.
• Handle monetary transactions and perform advanced cashiering duties.
• Assist in supervising the Front-End team for optimal performance.
• Process daily cash and credit transactions for all departments.
• Document and communicate sales data and discrepancies.
• Maintain an accurate safe count and monitor currency orders.
• Handle online order fulfillment and delivery coordination.
