Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks a Front End Operator cum maintainer to focus on OEE of front-end equipment in the can making line. You will operate, inspect, and maintain Cupper, Bodymaker, and Trimmer processes, coordinating with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes daily operations, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with involvement in TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process parameters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain front-end equipment to maximize uptime.
• Perform daily operation checks and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure safety checks and housekeeping standards are met during shifts.
• Monitor KPIs like spoilage, changeover times, and CCP controls.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering for PM activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, ISO).
