Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Front-End Software Developer to build modern interfaces for modeling and simulation, HITL, and engineering environments at Aberdeen Proving Ground, supporting critical national security missions.

You will collaborate with modeling, embedded, and systems engineers to translate complex workflows into intuitive dashboards, data visualizations, and control panels, using React/TypeScript and REST/WebSocket services; an Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience developing production-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar.
• Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web application architecture.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, message-based interfaces, or other backend services.
• Experience developing data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, visualization tools, or engineering applications.
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work directly with engineers and technical users to translate complex system requirements into effective user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces for engineering, simulation, and test applications.
• Collaborate with modeling and simulation engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to translate complex workflows into usable software.
• Translate complex system requirements into effective user interfaces for real-time data, simulations, and HITL/SITL environments.
