TechINT Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Front-End Software Developer in Baltimore, MD to build interfaces for modeling, simulation, and HITL environments. You will translate complex workflows into intuitive UI and work closely with engineers across disciplines to integrate real-time data and simulations.

The role requires strong JS/TS, HTML/CSS, experience with REST/WebSockets, and a track record in responsive, data-driven interfaces.

Qualifications

Front-End Software Developer (Baltimore, MD)

TechINT is currently looking for a Front-End Software Developer to join our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD team. This position requires up to 10% travel. Job# T1654

Develop modern software interfaces supporting modeling and simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and advanced engineering environments for critical national security missions. You'll build intuitive applications that allow engineers and operators to configure systems, visualize complex data, control simulations, and interact with physical and simulated hardware.

As a Front-End Software Developer, you'll design and implement user interfaces for engineering, simulation, and test applications. You'll work closely with modeling and simulation engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to translate complex technical workflows into usable software. The ideal candidate combines strong modern front-end development skills with experience integrating applications with real-time data, simulation environments, or HITL systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience developing production-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar.
• Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web application architecture.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, message-based interfaces, or other backend services.
• Experience developing data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, visualization tools, or engineering applications.
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work directly with engineers and technical users to translate complex system requirements into effective user interfaces.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting modeling and simulation (M&S) environments.
• Experience developing software for hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) or software-in-the-loop (SITL) systems.
• Experience visualizing or interacting with real-time telemetry, sensor data, system state, or simulation outputs.
• Familiarity with Python, C++, or other languages commonly used in engineering and simulation environments.
• Experience with 2D/3D visualization, geospatial interfaces, plotting, or scientific visualization libraries.
• Familiarity with simulation tools or frameworks such as MATLAB/Simulink, ROS/ROS 2, Unreal Engine, Unity, Gazebo, or similar.
• Experience integrating software with unmanned systems, robotics, embedded systems, test equipment, or physical hardware.
• Experience developing applications for aerospace, defense, autonomy, or other complex engineering environments.
