Eliassen Group is seeking a Front-End Engineer II for a remote, permanent position. You will build and enhance SPAs, mentor juniors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of SPA experience with Ember/React/Angular/Vue, strong HTML/CSS/JS, accessibility focus, and familiarity with AI-assisted workflows. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building SPAs with a modern JavaScript framework (Ember/React/Angular/Vue) and RESTful/JSON APIs.
• Mobile-first, responsive design implementation.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills with emphasis on vanilla JS fundamentals.
• Experience creating reusable components or libraries across apps.
• 1+ year with ES2015+ and Node.js.
• Experience with Gulp.js or similar build tools.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance/UI tests.
• Experience in an agile scrum environment.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of development workflows.

The role partners with front-end developers, API engineers, designers, and product owners, and contributes to component libraries, testing, accessibility, and code standards. The engineer will mentor associate engineers and interns, work within a scrum team, and apply strong JavaScript fundamentals with React and modern tooling. • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with emphasis on vanilla JS fundamentals.

• Experience creating reusable components or libraries across applications.

• 1+ year with ES2015+ and Node.js.

• Experience with Gulp.js or similar build tools.

• Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance/UI tests.

• Experience working in an agile scrum environment.

• Comfort using AI tools as part of development workflows and for solution exploration.

• Proficiency with React for modern feature development and migration from Ember where applicable. No backend work required.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience. High school diploma required.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
