Base-2 Solutions is hiring a Front-End Software Engineer 3 to develop high-quality web apps for a DoD program. On-site work in Bethesda, MD, with occasional remote depending on client needs. Strong ReactJS/Angular experience and TS/SCI eligibility required.

The role emphasizes UI/UX, unit testing, and collaboration in an Agile environment. A Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or equivalent is expected, with multiple degree pathways listed as acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with six years of experience, or equivalent substitution.
• Experience with ReactJS and Angular in production web apps.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript proficiency.
• Experience with HTTP requests for JSON data.
• Experience front-end unit tests and backend web APIs.
• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores like Elasticsearch.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph eligibility.
• Excellent communication and agile teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS or Angular.
• Code, test, and debug front-end features and UI.
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Perform unit testing with automated tooling.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize performance and usability.
• Peer review code and ensure quality standards.
• Work with Docker/Podman for containerized environments.
• Contribute to backend services and integration tests.
• Write well-documented code and participate in SDLC within Agile.
