Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Front End Engineer to join our Digital Delivery team. This hybrid role supports client-facing Angular work (Angular 19+) with heavy emphasis on CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, and accessible UI components.

You will collaborate with Product Owner, UX, and engineers to deliver features from scratch, write tests, and ensure responsive, scalable front-end solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in front-end development, strong Angular, SPA, and REST API experience, and a solid

• Strong styling skills with CSS/SCSS and Bootstrap
• Experience ensuring accessible web content (WCAG 2.0)
• Experience in large enterprise codebases and Agile environments
• Ability to write reusable UI components and manage API integrations
• Experience with TDD and frontend testing (Karma, Jest)

Responsibilities

• Develop new client-facing features for interactive web apps using REST APIs
• Collaborate with Product Owner, UX and engineers to deliver Angular features
• Create reusable, scalable UI components and ensure maintainability
• Leverage existing UI components where possible and ensure responsive implementations
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Work with designers, analysts and engineers to ship features in short increments
• Identify bottlenecks and fix issues in a timely manner

Title: Front End Engineer

Location: Vienna, VA, Pensacola, FL (HYBRID)

Duration: Initial 6-month contract with possible extensions

Compensation: $60/hour – $70/hour

Front End Engineer

Must Haves:

• Intermediate to Advanced experience creating web solutions in Angular 19
• Intermediate to Advanced experience styling web pages with CSS/SCSS & Bootstrap (or other frontend styling framework)
• Experience creating accessible solutions for web experiences that satisfy WCAG 2.0 standards.

Nice To Haves:

• Experience working with Nx workspace monorepos
• Experience with Storybook (or other design systems/component libraries)

Front-End Developer

We are looking for mid to senior-level Front-end engineer with extensive experience in Angular version 19 and up, who will be part of a Digital Delivery team responsible for the client side of our service. The Front-end engineer will support innovative member and team member experiences that leverage the latest technologies in open source and cloud technologies. Main duties will be to serve as a front-end web focused resource for an Agile team participating in team meetings, writing Angular code to produce features to be delivered, unit testing code to ensure maintainability, and coordinating with other engineers for deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new client facing features for interactive web applications that rely heavily on REST APIs using modern web technologies
• Work closely with Product Owner, UX and fellow engineers to understand and build Angular-based web features from scratch
• Implement UI component design focused on reusability/scalability/extensibility/supportability
• Utilize existing UI components where possible when creating and/or updating web components and features
• Ensure responsive implementation of web pages
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, analysts to define, design, and ship new features
• Develop high quality, shippable code in short increments
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Skills:

• Must have hands-on experience in Angular 19 and up
• Experience in writing unit test cases using Karma, Jest and other testing frameworks
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and/or AWS
• Experience with GitHub,Azure DevOps Repos, or other version control tools
• Strong, hands-on development with Single Page Applications
• 5 years of experience developing dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for the web
• Ability to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful web services
• Well versed in software architecture patterns
• Advanced knowledge in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge in Bootstrap or other similar frontend styling frameworks
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile (Scrum)
• Follow best practices with client-side Angular code
• Be able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Be proficient in TypeScript development
• Knowledge and experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines
• Experience with accessibility audit and quality assurance tool and processes
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Understanding of S.O.L.I.D. Principles

Hours: Monday — Friday, 8:00 AM — 4:30PM

Hybrid: The manager would prefer reporting location to be GPO and HQ, but can be from any of the major campus locations Pensacola, FL, Winchester, VA, San Diego, CA, and Vienna, VA).
