Job summary

REPAY Management Services is seeking a Front End Developer in Tempe, AZ to build large client-side web applications using JavaScript ES6/TypeScript. You will work closely with API developers and designers to deliver robust UI components and interfaces across the KUBRA platform.

The role requires 2–3 years of JavaScript experience, HTML/CSS proficiency, and a solid understanding of modern frontend patterns. A strong team player with debugging skills will thrive in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework.
• Experience with HTML and CSS.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
• Understanding of writing maintainable and flexible JavaScript applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS standards and techniques.
• React and Redux preferred.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors and css-in-js.
• Webpack experience preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript tests and testing frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript or interest in learning TypeScript preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

REPAY is seeking a Front End Developer to join our growing team. The Front End Developer builds large client-side web applications from scratch and is familiar with standard software patterns and best practices with an emphasis on JavaScript.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build large client-side web applications using standard software patterns and best practices, with an emphasis on JavaScript
• Work on a large application interface entirely in JavaScript ES6/Typescript
• Support existing JavaScript code bases with bug fixes or enhancements
• Work collaboratively with API developers to ensure API features support the interface
• Work with designers to build and develop GUIs for KUBRA applications
• Work to build, use, and improve common JavaScript components used by other development teams to help everyone move quickly & maintain UI commonalities
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
• 2-3 years of experience working with JavaScript
• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
• Understanding of how to write complex JavaScript applications that are maintainable and flexible
• Strong knowledge of the latest standards and techniques of HTML and CSS
• React and Redux preferred
• Experience with CSS preprocessors and the css-in-js pattern
• Webpack experience preferred
• Experience writing Javascript tests and experience with Javascript testing Frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript or interest in learning TypeScript preferred
