Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a friendly Courtesy Clerk to provide excellent customer service at the check stand, assist customers, bag groceries, and maintain store cleanliness. You will support with carry-out service, locate products, and help keep carts organized.

The role requires a courteous attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English proficiency and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality and strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail front-end.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers and team members.
• Assist customers with carry-out service and locating products.
• Bag groceries and check prices as needed.
• Maintain store and parking lot cleanliness and safety.
• Perform janitorial duties and restock supplies.
• Support with spills, trash removal, and safety tasks.
• Abide by store rules and company policies.
• Report injuries or hazards to management.
