Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tender types (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and protect loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Maintain food safety and safety programs; identify hazards and notify management.
• Provide helpful, courteous service and answer product questions.
