Job summary

Forge Construction is seeking a Front End Superintendent to lead mobilization through the envelope, delivering a weather-tight shell on schedule. You will own the front end, drive dry-in milestones, supervise field staff, and coordinate with trades to minimize rework.

Candidates should have 5+ years in commercial or multifamily construction and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. Forge Construction offers competitive pay and benefits; this role requires regional mobility and strong leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial or multifamily construction leadership roles.
• Ability to run ground-up work from mobilization through dry-in on schedule.
• Strength in interpreting construction documents, shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Working knowledge of building codes, inspections and AHJ processes in Kentucky/Indiana.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize the site and establish logistics plans including power, water, fencing, trailers, laydown, and access sequencing.
• Direct foundations, structure, and envelope work; verify utilities and embeds prior to pours.
• Coordinate MEP rough-in, ensure alignment with coordination/shop drawings, and manage field RFIs.
• Drive exterior envelope scope (sheathing, WRB, flashing, windows/doors, roof) and dry-in milestones.
• Maintain a three-week look-ahead, lead safety initiatives, and conduct pre-installation and coordination meetings.
• Lead subcontractor coordination, mentor front-end staff, and execute a thorough handoff to Finish Superintendent.
