Forge Construction is seeking a Front End Superintendent to lead mobilization, site logistics, and early project execution for a multifamily/commercial build in Indiana. You will direct foundations, structure, envelope, and MEP rough-in while upholding schedule and quality targets.

The role requires strong coordination across trades and enforcement of safety standards. The successful candidate will manage three-week look-ahead, mentor field staff, and hand off to Finish Superintendent with clear

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or multifamily construction superintendent or assistant superintendent experience.
• Strong command of construction documents, shop drawings, and coordination drawings across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Working knowledge of building codes, inspection sequences, and AHJ processes in Kentucky and Indiana jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to hold subcontractors accountable to schedule, quality, and safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Mobilization and site logistics planning; establish site utilities, fencing, access, and laydown areas.
• Direct foundations, structure, and envelope work; ensure verticality, tolerances, and inspections align with schedule.
• Coordinate MEP rough-in; resolve conflicts via RFIs and ensure readiness for inspections.
• Drive exterior envelope scope and dry-in milestones; protect completed work from weather and premature access.
• Lead front-end schedule development, safety program administration, and cross-trade coordination meetings.
