Job summary

Forge Construction seeks a Front End Superintendent to lead mobilization through dry-in on commercial and multifamily projects. You will set pace, quality, and dimensional accuracy, delivering weather-tight shells on schedule and orchestrating site logistics, framing, MEP rough-ins, and exterior envelope work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or multifamily construction superintendent or assistant superintendent experience with ownership of structure, rough-in, and envelope scopes.
• Proven ability to run ground-up work from mobilization through dry-in on schedule.
• Strong command of construction documents, shop drawings, and coordination drawings across disciplines.
• Working knowledge of building codes, inspection sequences, and AHJ processes in applicable jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Mobilization & Site Logistics: establish site, utilities, fencing, access, and signage; verify survey control and layout.
• Foundations & Structure: direct footings, slabs, framing, and embed verification; manage concrete operations.
• MEP Rough-In Coordination: sequence plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection to avoid rework.
• Envelope & Dry-In: drive exterior envelope scope, ensure installations meet specs and water management.
• Schedule, Safety & Team Leadership: drive look-ahead schedules, enforce safety, lead meetings, mentor staff, handoff to Finish Superintendent.
