Job summary

Walmart is hiring a store leadership role in New Orleans, LA. You will lead and develop teams, drive store performance, and ensure superior customer service through the OBW model. The role encompasses budgeting, merchandising, and community initiatives to align with company goals.

The position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities through Live Better U, with annual salary range disclosed. 4001 BEHRMAN PL, NEW ORLEANS, LA will be the primary location.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by training and giving feedback to associates.
• Improve customer service and operational standards using OBW and company initiatives.
• Manage store financials: review P&L, budgeting, forecasting and expenses.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, inventory flow and shrink mitigation.
• Hire, train and mentor hourly associates and promote a culture of belonging.
