Kroger Co. is seeking an on-site team member in Peoria, AZ to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions quickly, and support inventory and promotions while adhering to company policies.

The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, attention to pricing, and teamwork to ensure a consistent shopping experience for every guest.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates and maintain a positive attitude.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products and assisting customers in-store.
• Know products well and respond to questions with accurate recommendations.
• Report pricing and scanning discrepancies to the appropriate manager.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges per company policies.
• Communicate new and ongoing programs and promotions to customers.
• Follow policies for stamps, money orders, gift certificates, lottery and related services.
• Handle funds, coupons and different tender types per policy.
• Stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Monitor inventory and ordering system integrity.
• Label and stock merchandise in the department.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; participate in safety programs.
• Identify and report safety risks or incidents to management.
