Job summary

You will work with fellow associates to meet sales goals, follow policies, and practice Kroger's values of respect, integrity and safety while supporting operations across checkout, stocking and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Sound judgement/decision making; friendly, approachable demeanor; team player.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working and shopping environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service; greet customers and assist them with products.
• Oversee front end operations to meet sales goals through service and shrink control.
• Train, coach, and monitor associates on front end policies and procedures.
• Ensure prompt, accurate checkout and compliance with policies and laws.
