Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring for a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience and friendly service. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and keep the front-end area organized and clean.

You should enjoy a fast-paced environment, be comfortable standing for extended periods, and be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing communication during checkout and assistance
• Accurate processing of purchases including cash, card, and digital payments
• High accuracy in scanning, pricing, codes, and order completion
• Basic arithmetic: counting change and balancing registers
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with steady workflow
• Support front-end duties like bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and upkeep
• Identify and resolve pricing, transaction, or customer service questions
• Follow store policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts
• Stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
