Qualifications

• Customer-facing checkout experience and friendly communication
• Accurate transaction processing across cash, card, and digital payments
• Precise scanning, pricing, and order completion workflows
• Ability to count change and balance registers, basic math operations
• Multitask and manage time while keeping checkout area orderly
• Support bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep
• Identify and resolve pricing, transaction, or customer service questions
• Follow store procedures and checkout protocols
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow during shifts
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; work indoors/outdoors as needed

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience and be the final friendly touch before customers leave.
• Scan items, bag groceries, assist customers, and answer questions.
• Handle transactions with accuracy and efficiency; manage cash, card, and digital payments.
• Rotate through tasks such as cart retrieval, stocking, and maintaining the checkout area.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front-end area throughout shifts.
