Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member for our Burns, Oregon Safeway store. You will help ensure a smooth checkout experience, assist customers, and keep the front-end area organized and efficient.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, bagging groceries, restocking, and supporting with cart retrieval while maintaining a positive customer interaction throughout shifts. Prior cashier training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout to ensure a smooth experience
• Handle transactions using cash, card, and digital payments
• Bag groceries and assist with cart retrieval and stocking
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end area and checkout process
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures while adapting to changing tasks
