Job summary

The Home Depot in Prattville, AL is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations. You will ensure fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service, while processing checkout and returns and maintaining the Self-Checkout area.

As a senior cashier, you will escalate customer issues, coach and train other cashiers, and support in price checks and markdowns where needed. A minimum of 1+ years cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred: 1+ years of cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers.
• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Escalate customer issues as first level support.
• Assist in supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers.
