SpartanNash is seeking a part-time cashier at Family Fare in Blair, NE. You will operate the cash register and scanner to itemize purchases, process a variety of payments, and assist in bagging items while delivering courteous service.

Responsibilities include handling cash and checks, advising customers on promotions, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked checkout area. Prior retail experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to interact politely with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize purchases and total customers.
• Process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, and coupons according to policy.
• Weigh and bag purchases.
• Understand and use check-stand equipment efficiently.
• Assist with front-end duties and merchandising at the check-stand.
• Communicate store programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers.
