Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions while maintaining a clean, organized front-end area.

You will adapt to changing tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior cashier training and a friendly, customer-focused approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout, scan items, bag groceries and answer questions
• Process cash, card and digital payments accurately
• Keep front-end area organized, clean and stocked
• Restock supplies, collect carts and maintain checkout area
• Follow store policies and register procedures while handling changing customer flow
