Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist with bagging, and keep the front end organized and running efficiently throughout the shift.

You will rotate between tasks such as processing purchases, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area, all while delivering friendly, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of cashier/front-end training is provided on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Prior customer service experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately using cash, card, or digital payments
• Greet customers and assist with questions
• Bag groceries and assist with bagging as needed
• Restock supplies and maintain checkout area cleanliness and organization
• Collect carts and maintain front-end areas
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Assist with price checks, discounts, or issues as they arise
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
