Job summary

Boise Consumer Cooperative Inc is seeking a Front End team member to ensure accurate transactions, friendly service, and a smooth shopping environment. You will assist at checkout, engage customers, promote membership, and help with Round Up donations while maintaining a clean, organized front end.

The role requires 19+ years old, a high school diploma, background check, and availability mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Background check required.
• Retail cashier or customer service experience preferred in grocery.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate checkout by entering SKU, quantity, and weight into POS.
• Engage customers warmly and offer membership information during transactions.
• Ask customers to Round Up for the monthly sponsored non-profit.
• Follow cash handling and check receiving procedures to maintain till accuracy.
• Support customers at self-checkout and assist with questions.
• Balance service with stocking and light cleaning to keep the department running smoothly.
