Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows all cash handling procedures and cashier variance policy.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper merchandising and pricing.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment and reports hazards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
