Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise, Idaho seeks a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience and help customers complete purchases quickly and accurately. You’ll scan items, bag groceries, and answer questions with friendly, efficient service to leave every visit on a positive note.

You will keep the front end organized, restock supplies, manage carts, and adhere to store procedures in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction: friendly, clear communication during checkout and assistance to customers.
• Transaction handling: process purchases accurately with cash, card, and digital payments.
• Attention to detail: accurate scanning, pricing, produce codes and order completion.
• Basic math: handling cash, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Organization & time management: manage multiple tasks with steady workflow.
• Store front-end support: assist with bagging, carts, stocking and upkeep.
• Problem awareness: identify pricing, transaction or service questions.
• Operational awareness: follow policies, register procedures and checkout processes.
• Adaptability: adjust to changing tasks and customer flow.
• Physical capability: stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the front-end checkout.
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking and front-end upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and assist customers as needed.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures to ensure a smooth experience.
