Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and answer questions in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll also keep the front end clean and organized, rotate tasks like restocking and cart retrieval, and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 or 18 depending on local/state requirements.
• Complete cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and clear communication skills required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process purchases accurately with cash, card, and digital payments.
• Greet customers and assist at the checkout with friendly service.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end area and restock as needed.
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, and general front-end upkeep.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures during shifts.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout the day.
