The role also involves keeping the front end organized, restocking, retrieving carts, and assisting with general upkeep during a fast-paced shift. Training is provided, with a focus on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout with friendly, efficient service
• Process purchases and handle cash, cards, and digital payments
• Maintain accurate scanning, pricing, and produce codes
• Bag groceries and assist with bagging and cart retrieval
• Restock supplies and keep checkout area organized and clean
• Follow store procedures and safety guidelines
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow during shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
