Job summary

ShopRite of Glassboro is seeking a Cashier to deliver a great customer experience with accurate, friendly and efficient checkout service, including scanning, pricing and bagging products, and handling multiple payment methods.

The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe front-end environment, greet customers, and support store operations while following safety, presentation and efficiency priorities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Good customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer experience at checkout.
• Scan, price and bag products accurately.
• Process all forms of payments (cash, credit, checks, EBT, etc.).
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized front-end area.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
