Qualifications

• Dexterity to scan and key groceries accurately.
• Strong communication skills for excellent customer service.
• Strong mathematical skills to run registers accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds up to 40% of the time.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Scan grocery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identify departments and modifiers that do not scan.
• Bag according to customer requests.
• Count cash drawer before shift and keep drawer secure.
• Handle a payment media accurately and follow cash-control policies.
• Follow void procedures.
• Identify produce items and input correct lookup codes.
• Enforce store security policies (shoplifting, purchase policy, BOB).
• Provide high standards of customer service by greeting and thanking customers.
