Qualifications

• Experience with cashiering or retail cash handling is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic for cash transactions and making change.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and assist at the register.
• Operate cash register, scan items, and process payments accurately.
• Ensure correct pricing by scanning barcodes and applying coupons.
• Bag items, assist with carry-outs, and keep checkout area neat.
• Provide information and resolve guest questions with courtesy.
• Uphold store policies, including identification checks when required.
• Support inventory and maintain shelves and price tags as needed.
