Albertsons Companies Inc. operates Safeway stores and seeks a Front-End Team Member in Oregon to help provide a smooth checkout experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the front-end area organized for a fast-paced, friendly service flow.

Responsibilities include scanning, bagging, answering questions, and maintaining accuracy across pricing and order completion while adapting to changing customer needs throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers at checkout.
• Process purchases accurately with cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain organized, clean front-end area and assist with cart retrieval and stocking.
• Answer questions and help resolve pricing or service issues.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures; stay adaptable to flow.
