Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to provide a smooth checkout experience and friendly customer service. You will scan items, assist with bagging, answer questions, and help ensure accurate purchases at the register.

You’ll rotate tasks such as restocking, collecting carts, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Age 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule incl. early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Scan items and process purchases
• Bag groceries and assist with checkout area
• Answer questions and help customers
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments
• Restock supplies and rotate tasks during shift
• Keep checkout area clean and organized
• Assist with cart retrieval and store upkeep
• Address pricing or transaction questions as needed
• Follow store procedures and policies
• Adapt to changing customer flow throughout shift
