Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk
• Minimum 18 years of age/19 in Idaho/19 in Alaska if selling tobacco
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
• Related retail experience

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the service desk and register
• Perform cashier functions and complete tender transactions, bag merchandise
• Maintain checkstand area and ensure housekeeping standards
• Answer telephones and provide refunds, exchanges, and money orders
• Process payments and distribute lottery services and licenses where authorized
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare deposits as needed
• Follow corporate policies and support store initiatives
• Handle returns, transfers, and product surcharges with integrity
