You will ensure a positive store image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service and by adhering to store SOPs.

Responsibilities include efficiently checking out items, handling cash, training new cashiers, maintaining front-end areas, and contributing to a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Maintains proficiency with the Cashier Code Book and PLUs.
• Strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows cash handling procedures and credit procedures.
• Maintains front end cleanliness and stocking.
• May assist training of new Cashier staff.
• Support supervisor in managing customer flow and lines.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
