Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize and total customer purchases.
• Process payments and assist in bagging items.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe checkout area.
• Follow all financial transaction procedures including cash, checks, charges, credit cards, WIC, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons.
• Adhere to store programs, weekly specials, coupons, and ads.
• Stock shelves and rotate products per stocking instructions when requested.
• Keep the checkout and front-end area clean by cleaning glass, floors, and shelves.
• Handle any other projects and duties as assigned.
