Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is seeking a front-end cashier to operate the register and scanner, itemize purchases, and process payments in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will help customers locate products, maintain a clean checkout area, stock shelves, and follow store programs, policies, and loss prevention procedures. This role emphasizes dependable, organized teamwork within a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience, previous customer service or retail store experience preferred.
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize and total customer purchases.
• Process payments, including cash, checks, charged, and cards.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe checkout area.
• Stock shelves and assist in front-end duties as needed.
• Follow store programs, weekly specials, coupons, and ads.
