Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical aspects of the job.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center duties.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for easier bagging.
• Check the bottom of every cart and under baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow correct bagging procedures and cashier procedures per standard practice.
• Scan orders and handle payments per standard practice.
• Follow procedures for refunds and error corrections.
• Maintain accurate cash control and assist with overrides when needed.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take the customer's order to their car.
• Maintain a neat and clean work station and front end area of the store.
• Report any register malfunction and ensure MVP savings kiosk is functional.
