Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Good math and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows cash handling procedures and proper checkout processes.
• Maintains front-end areas and stock of register.
• Assists with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Supports supervisor in managing customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensures signs and pricing accuracy and follows safety procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
