Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers by name when possible and assist with their needs.
• Stack, bag and bag groceries efficiently following procedures.
• Handle payments, cash, checks and coupons per standard practice.
• Monitor cash control and perform overrides as required.
• Assist customers to their cars if needed and maintain front-end cleanliness.
• Address safety, cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Complete CBT and other training modules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
