Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage excellent customer service
• Perform cashier functions, including opening/closing register, ringing sales, completing transactions, bagging merchandise, making money drops, and knowing produce codes
• Maintain the checkstand area and complete necessary logs
• Answer telephones and comply with all policies
• Promote company initiatives and ensure electronic article surveillance tags are deactivated or removed

Store Accounting

• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits

Customer Service Desk

• Open/close desk, process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and equipment rentals
• Provide lottery and fishing licenses, handle faxes, manage lost and found, run vendor reports
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments, manage conflicts, act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, support minors and individuals with special needs, and perform essential functions with or without accommodation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk
• Minimum age 18/19 depending on location, ability to pass drug test, work weekends, shifts, overtime, organize tasks, and pay attention to detail

Desired Skills
